We have also added our critics' picks (). All readers who submitted a ballot became eligible to win dinner for two in our random drawing. This year's winner is Melanie Naef of Flanders. She will receive a gift certificate to Lorena's in Maplewood, the Best of the Best poll winner in Naef's region, North.

Close to "perfect", this "spectacular" Maplewood BYO overseen by chef Humberto Campos Jr. offers "sublime" cuisine with such "superb attention to detail" that it's rated NJ's Top French restaurant; granted, it's "unaffordable on a regular basis" and the ultra-"compact" setting means "you'll need to reserve weeks in advance", but given the "flawless" service and "super-romantic" mood, many say it "doesn't get any better" than this.
